What was the project about?

De l’Erlen’ au fermenteur, by Bionet and AD Biotec, invited students from BTS Biotechnologies, BTS BioALC and BTSA ANABIOTEC to take part in a unique learning adventure that connected school projects with real bioprocessing practice.

The mission:

Students designed and carried out a bench-scale experiment in Erlenmeyer flasks. Each team was free to choose its microorganism and the scientific question it wanted to explore. The next step was to design how this process could be scaled up to a bioreactor.
