Product features

Complete Software for improved control

This bioprocess automation software Rosita integrates full SCADA capabilities for control, visualisation, and data logging during bioprocessing. It features an intuitive interface that enhances lab efficiency, providing complete control over bioprocessing parameters, including recipe management, user profiles, and remote control.

Interchangeable borosilicate vessels in a range of volumes for different uses

The vessels are available in a wide range of working volumes and different geometries for microbial and cell cultures. Its interchangeability derives from the existence of shared vessel supports and agitator motors. F0 allows you to effortlessly manage up to three bioreactors from a single computer with our multi-bioreactor control feature.

A functional lid for ergonomic and flexible operation

The design of the lid offers a wide variety of operation possibilities, as well as ergonomic handling and maintenance. A high number of ports provides functional versatility, as the ports allow for the input and output of information and material, including sampling.

A precise and adaptable agitation module with simple maintenance

Top agitation provides additional flexibility to agitator geometry. For control see ROSITA.

A premium quality flexible pump configuration with advanced control

The F0-BABY is delivered with 3 precise and linear peristaltic fixed speed pumps and the option of the integration of up to 4 additional pumps with variable speed, which allows Fed-batch and Continuous Processes among others.

A simple, effective and easy-to-maintain temperature control system

The temperature control, with a range of °C: 10 – 55 °C, is exerted efficiently for most types of cells. It consists of an internal pneumatic circuit, a cooling finger and a heating blanket as actuators.

Possibilities for future expansion – Plug&Play

The presence of accessible spare signals and wired connectors allows for future integration of additional instrumentation and actuators, and Bionet’s bSmart Modules in a Plug&Play fashion.

FAQs

A big advantage of F0 is the ability to construct it following your needs. Get an entry-level bioreactor that has better configuration and software capabilities than most of the low-cost models in the market. You can add more functionalities later by just purchasing and connecting the new module/probe to the control unit. Due to the Plug&Play concept, bSmart modules, additional instrumentation, available spare signals and lid ports, our bioreactor remains a flexible and universal solution for different purposes.

Monitoring critical parameters like CER (Carbon Dioxide Evolution Rate) can offer sensitive insights into your culture’s metabolic activity, aiding in optimising feeding strategies. For non-homogeneous cultures, combining CER data with optical density measurements enhances accuracy. Additionally, tracking microbial respiration parameters such as CER, OUR (Oxygen Uptake Rate), and RQ (Respiratory Quotient) provides a comprehensive view of your microorganism’s development, overcoming limitations posed by heterogeneous cultures.
