What is it used for?

The M1 and M1+ units are unique solutions for all those looking for a compact system for the concentration and/or clarification of biomass and/or biomolecules from their microbial fermentation or cell culture processes. They are best-in-class for laboratory activities, where membrane configuration remains unknown, and a unique workhorse in multi-purpose pilot plants. It guarantees consistent and reproducible results, providing the necessary technological components and the data required for process development and ensuring scalability.

While offering simplicity at all levels, the M1 provides a range of membrane and technology possibilities to start testing your process performance as soon as you have a feedstock to try on, in the microfiltration and ultrafiltration ranges, and to fit various operational requirements. It features modularity, a choice of membrane types, and a smart feeding pump with precise control and connectivity, ensuring that the system can be tailored to meet specific customer needs and support process scalability. For applications requiring higher filtration capacity, we featured the M1+ model, with its extended membrane surface area, which offers better performance and is conveniently mounted on a trolley for simplified mobility.

A wide range of membrane technologies and characteristics that offer the configuration adaptability required at R&D

The M1 allows the selection of the most optimum membrane technology (ceramic, cassetes, hollow fiber and flat sheets) from any vendor and among a complete range of pore sizes, channel diameter and channel number (i.e. surface areas).

These can be interchangeably integrated and tested in the M1. This allows for un-parallel capabilities for comparing membranes using identical process conditions and data registration for analysis.

Additional functionalities are at reach any time, making the M1 even more flexible and adaptable

bFlow provides accessible connections to multiple sensors. This allows further control capabilities and data features, including real-time visualization and additional data registration, to enable a deeper process characterization and analysis which, in turn, enhances process optimization tasks.

The M1 can be controlled by any device within a same Wifi space, with the App of ROSITA-D

The ROSITA-D App belongs to the ROSITA software family, and it allows for pump control and data visualization and registration capabilities.

The App is, as the rest of the Software licenses by Bionet, ready for the Plug&Play of additional instrumentation and actuators, to allow for additional control and data functionalities.
